A Baa-rilliant Day at Hartwell Lodge: Baby Farm Animals Spring Into Hearts and Homes

In a delightful start to the day, Hartwell Lodge Care Home had the pleasure of hosting an exceptionally special event that brought smiles, laughter, and an undeniable sense of warmth to both residents and staff alike. Em’s Friendly Farms graced them with a visit, bringing along their adorable farm babies – an experience that turned an ordinary morning into an extraordinary adventure.

The air buzzed with excitement as residents interacted with the curious little visitors, who seemed just as thrilled to explore the nooks and crannies of Hartwell Lodge. The care home was alive with the sounds of joy and wonder, as everyone got busy following the playful creatures around, ensuring they felt as welcomed and loved as they made us feel.

Wallace, Arnold, and Trevor – the stars of the day – were nothing short of celebrities, receiving all the cuddles and attention they could ever wish for. It’s not every day that you find a sheep, a goat, and a piglet making themselves at home in a care setting, but at Hartwell Lodge, embracing the extraordinary is part of what makes life here so special.

This visit was more than just a fun activity; it was a reminder of the simple joys that life offers and a testament to the vibrant community spirit that thrives within Hartwell Lodge. As the farm babies wandered and explored, they brought with them a message of renewal and growth – a fitting herald for the upcoming spring season.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Em and her team at Em’s Friendly Farms for sharing their farm babies with us. The joy and laughter they brought into our home are truly invaluable. It’s moments like these that reinforce our commitment to creating a nurturing, engaging, and lively environment for our residents” said the Activities Coordinator Helena.

The residents and staff look forward to more visits and new experiences, Hartwell Lodge remains a place where warmth, care, and the promise of new beginnings are always in season.
