Buckland Care is seeking an exceptional Registered Manager to lead Hartwell Lodge, our 31-bed residential care home in Fareham. SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As Registered Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the home each day – supporting your team, welcoming families, and making sure every resident feels safe, cared for, and truly seen. You’ll be the reassuring voice when someone has a worry, the calm steady presence when things get busy, and the person who helps the home feel warm, organised, and well-loved.
This role is a real blend of people skills, kindness, and confident leadership. You’ll guide your team with clarity and compassion, keep standards high without losing the human touch, and help create a home where residents feel valued and staff feel proud to be part of something meaningful.
ABOUT YOU
- NVQ Level 5
- At least seven years’ experience in the care sector.
- Experience as a Manager or several years as a Deputy in a care home environment.
- A calm, supportive, and motivating leader.
- Strong organisational and administration skills.
- Clear, friendly communication style.
- Confident in managing budgets and supporting occupancy.
- Committed to high standards of care and teamwork.
Salary: £45,000 -£50,000 dependent on experience
