The Firs Residential Home in Budleigh Salterton is opening its doors to the local community on Friday 19th December at 2pm for an afternoon filled with Christmas spirit, friendly faces, and festive cheer.

Residents, families, neighbours, and friends are warmly invited to come together for A Festive Day – a cosy celebration designed to bring people closer at a time of year when connection matters most.

Guests can enjoy mince pies, mulled wine, and good company in a relaxed, friendly setting. The home will also be joined by the wonderful East Devon Daytime Band, adding live music to help set the tone for a joyful afternoon.

Nikki, the Home Manager at The Firs, shared:

“Christmas has always been about togetherness, and we know how important that sense of community is – not only for our residents, but for our neighbours too. We’d love to welcome everyone in for a warm drink, some festive treats, and a chance to share the joy of the season with us.”
