Residents from The Firs enjoyed a wonderfully festive morning as they wrapped up warm and made their way to Kings Garden Centre.
The Christmas displays proved to be a real highlight, with many of the ladies reminiscing about their childhood as they admired the carousel, train sets, and beautifully decorated trees. The scenes sparked warm memories and plenty of conversation as they wandered through the displays.
A visit to Kings wouldn’t be complete without stopping by the café, where residents enjoyed hot drinks and slices of the centre’s much-loved homemade cakes. It was a cosy and comforting break, filled with relaxed chatter and smiling faces.
The outing finished with a leisurely browse around the shop, where several residents picked up some lovely Christmas gifts to take home.
The morning was a gentle and joyful start to the festive season at The Firs, leaving everyone feeling very much in the Christmas spirit.
