Are you enthusiastic, creative and friendly? Hartwell Lodge Residential Home in Fareham has an exciting opportunity for a part time Wellbeing & Activities Coordinator to join the team. Some care experience is beneficial but not a requirement. The post is for 21 hours per week from 10am-5pm working some weekends.
SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As a Wellbeing & Activities Coordinator, you will help curate, organise and participate in a varied and exciting activities schedule for residents, which they can enjoy and which will enhance their wellbeing and quality of life.
Your daily routine will be to offer a range of activities throughout the day, taking into account the abilities and preferences of each resident at the home.
In this role you will be in charge of organising outside entertainment, seasonal parties and outings throughout the year. You will also need to arrange fundraising events to encourage involvement with the local community. There is an element of paperwork to this role so you must be able to keep records effectively.
- No formal qualifications required although previous care experience is beneficial
- A good level of English
