Blackwater Mill Care Home wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful students and staff at Newport C of E Primary School for their beautiful and thoughtful cards. The delight and joy these heartfelt messages brought to our residents are beyond words.

Each card was a beacon of kindness, sparking smiles and even a few tears of joy among our residents. One resident, moved by the gesture, tearfully expressed, “They wrote a card for me…what beautiful words to write to a stranger.” These words encapsulate the profound impact of this simple yet meaningful act of kindness.

Our residents were over the moon to receive these considerate gifts, feeling valued and remembered by the younger generation. The thoughtful messages have brightened their days and warmed their hearts, fostering a sense of connection and community.
