Residents at Hartwell Lodge got into the swing of summer yesterday with a Wimbledon-inspired celebration, complete with strawberries and cream, fresh fruit, and ice-cold Pimm’s with mint.

The team transformed the lounge into a summery retreat, with gentle nods to the iconic tennis tournament. Residents enjoyed the classic Wimbledon treats while reminiscing about summers gone by and their favourite sporting moments.

“It was such a lovely way to mark the start of Wimbledon,” said Jennifer Daly, Home Manager. “It’s not just about the strawberries and the Pimm’s—it’s about creating joyful moments that make people feel connected, relaxed, and part of something special.”
