This Christmas, residents at West Bank Care Home in Ross on Wye received a heart-warming surprise that delivered a hefty dose of festive cheer – a visit from Tilly a charming Shetland Pony with a penchant for carrots and spreading smiles. On 18th December Tilly and his human escorts, Claire and Nia Wallis brought festive merriment and gentle neighs to the care home, leaving residents with memories that will undoubtedly linger long after the holidays.
“Christmas is a time for family, friends, and laughter,” said the Home Manager Judy ” and what better way to spread that joy than with a visit from an adorable pony? We knew our residents would be smitten with Tillys gentle nature and playful spirit, and we were right!”
Tilly, renowned for her fluffy coat, friendly demeanor, and unwavering love for carrots, is no stranger to spreading holiday cheer.
