There was a tempting smell of home baking in the air at Hartwell Lodge this week, as residents and team members rolled up their sleeves for a Summer Bake Sale in support of Carers.org.
The event brought together residents, staff, and families to raise money for a cause close to many hearts. From scones and sponge cakes to brownies and biscuits, the homemade treats were a hit—and the team were delighted to raise £72 for the national charity supporting unpaid carers across the UK.
“It was a brilliant afternoon with lots of laughs, cups of tea, and plenty of cake,” said Home Manager Jennifer Daly. “We’re so proud to support Carers.org and recognise the incredible work that carers do every single day.”
The Summer Bake Sale is part of Hartwell Lodge’s commitment to supporting good causes while creating fun, meaningful experiences for residents and the wider community.
