Residents at The Firs Care Home were treated to a truly special Valentine’s celebration this week, enjoying a beautifully prepared Afternoon Tea alongside a live performance from local musician Luc.
The home was filled with warmth and laughter as residents gathered to enjoy freshly baked scones, delicate finger sandwiches, and sweet treats, all served with plenty of tea and good company. Tables were dressed for the occasion, creating an elegant and cheerful setting that made the afternoon feel extra special.
Adding to the atmosphere, Luc delivered a simply beautiful live performance that brought smiles across the room. His music sparked fond memories, gentle singalongs, and plenty of toe-tapping, creating moments of connection and nostalgia for everyone present.
Nikki, the Home Manager at The Firs Care Home said:
“It was an absolute pleasure to welcome Luc to perform for our residents. The afternoon tea was a wonderful way to celebrate Valentine’s Day together, and seeing the joy on everyone’s faces made it truly memorable.
