Hartwell Lodge Care Home was alive with the sound of music, giggles, and joyful connection yesterday as residents and staff came together for a very special Rhyme Time session.
The heartwarming event saw the staff’s little ones join in with our residents to share nursery rhymes, songs, and stories—bridging the generations through music and play. With a little help from some cheerful props, a flurry of bubbles, and singalong videos on the big screen, the room was soon filled with smiling faces, clapping hands, and happy voices.
“It was such a lovely morning,” said Home Manager Jennifer Daly. “You could see how much it meant to everyone—young and old. The children brought such energy and joy, and our residents absolutely lit up watching them. These moments are what make our home feel like family.”
Rhyme Time is just one of many regular activities at Hartwell Lodge designed to foster companionship, spark memories, and create meaningful moments across all ages. It’s part of the home’s ongoing commitment to nurturing wellbeing, not just through care, but through connection.
