Residents and staff at The Orchards Residential Home have been busy bringing history to life, proudly unveiling their brand-new Anglo-Saxon themed garden display.
The project was a true team effort, with residents and staff working side by side to design and create the display. From researching the Anglo-Saxon era to carefully crafting each piece, the home was filled with creativity, conversation, and plenty of laughter along the way.
Home Manager Julie said:
“We’re so proud of what our residents and staff have achieved together. Projects like this are about so much more than the finished display—they’re about connection, purpose, and joy. It’s been wonderful to see our residents’ ideas come to life in such a meaningful way.”
The display is now complete and ready to be enjoyed in the home’s garden, where it will provide a talking point for residents, families, and visitors.
The Orchards team would like to congratulate everyone who contributed to the project—proof that with teamwork and imagination, amazing things can be achieved.
