This past week, our Buckland care homes came together for a truly special occasion – the “Time for a Cuppa” event, aimed at raising funds for the incredible #dementiauk. It was a day filled with laughter, joy, and community spirit, and we’re thrilled to share some of the highlights with you!
From delicious homemade cakes that would make your grandma proud to engaging quizzes that had everyone scratching their heads, the day was packed with fun activities. Each home brought its unique flair to the event; there were games that sparked friendly competition and even a mystical tarot reading session at one home, adding a sprinkle of magic to the day!
The best part? The warmth of your support! We’re still counting, but so far, we’ve raised an amazing £800 collectively. This achievement speaks volumes about the caring, generous community that makes up Buckland care homes. We couldn’t be prouder of the staff, residents, and every visitor who contributed their time, enthusiasm, and donations.
