West Bank Residential Home had a busy and exciting day as the residents celebrated St Patrick’s Day in style. The day was filled with fun activities that brought joy and laughter to everyone involved.

The highlight of the day was the St Patrick’s Day celebrations which included Guinness, an Irish Quiz, and Limericks. The residents showed off their knowledge of Irish culture as they answered questions on various topics, including Irish history, music, and traditions. They also enjoyed the smooth taste of Guinness as they celebrated the Irish holiday.

To make the day even more special, the home served delicious Guinness Cake and Bailey’s Banoffee pie desserts for lunch, which the residents enjoyed.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, some of the residents chose to wear the hats they made, which added to the celebratory spirit.

In addition to the St Patrick’s Day celebrations, Abbie’s luck shone as she won the Gold Cup Sweep Stake arranged by resident, Possy. The excitement in the air was palpable, and everyone cheered Abbie as she received her prize.

But the festivities didn’t stop there, as West Bank Residential Home had more in store. Ross Juniors visited for football training, and Alex was there with Memory Club, adding to the day’s fun and entertainment.
