Brunswick House Care Home was filled with joy and celebration as we marked the 104th birthday of our beloved resident, Mary Kelly, on the 28th of June. It was a day filled with laughter, reminiscing, and heartfelt moments, truly capturing the spirit of our warm and caring community.

Mary Kelly, an inspiring figure at Brunswick House, has always been known for her vibrant spirit and zest for life. Reaching such a remarkable milestone is a testament to her resilience and positive outlook. Our team, along with Mary’s family and friends, made sure this special day was nothing short of spectacular.

The celebration began with a delightful afternoon tea party, complete with Mary’s favourite treats and a beautifully decorated cake that stole the show. Our talented in-house chef crafted a cake that not only looked stunning but also brought smiles with its delicious flavours. Mary was overjoyed to see her name and age proudly displayed on this masterpiece.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, our lounge was adorned with balloons, banners, and photos from Mary’s life, creating a nostalgic journey through her incredible 104 years. Music filled the air as we played some of Mary’s favourite tunes, encouraging a bit of dancing and plenty of sing-alongs. It was heartwarming to see her eyes light up with each familiar melody.
