Brunswick House was full of smiles and heartfelt moments this weekend as residents and their loved ones came together to enjoy a special Mother’s Day afternoon tea.
The team laid on a thoughtful spread, complete with delicious cakes, sandwiches and plenty of tea, making sure everyone felt properly spoilt. Residents and their families also took part in gentle arts and crafts activities, adding a creative touch to the day and giving everyone a chance to make something meaningful to take home or display with pride.
There was a real sense of love and togetherness in the air – a chance to pause, reflect, and celebrate the important women in our lives.
“These events are about so much more than tea and cake,” said a member of the care team. “They’re a chance to bring families together, create happy memories, and remind our residents how valued and loved they are.”
The afternoon was a lovely reminder that it’s the little things – time spent together, a handmade card, a shared smile – that mean the most.
Brunswick House would like to thank all the families who joined in and helped make the day so special.
