Hartwell Lodge Spreads Christmas Cheer with Successful Craft Fayre

Hartwell Lodge Care Home was filled with festive spirit as it hosted a Christmas Craft Fayre that brought residents, families, and the local community together for a day of seasonal joy. The event was a resounding success, featuring handmade crafts, delicious treats, and plenty of holiday cheer.

The Fayre showcased the talents of dedicated stallholders, who displayed an array of beautiful, handcrafted items for sale. Visitors enjoyed browsing the stalls, picking up unique gifts, and soaking up the warm, festive atmosphere.

Hartwell Lodge’s staff went above and beyond to ensure the event was a success, many giving up their free time to help set up and run the Fayre. Their dedication and enthusiasm were central to making the day so memorable.

One standout moment of the day was the contribution of Hartwell Mini team member, Elodie. She not only managed the mince pie and hot drinks stall with flair but also crafted a stunning wreath to adorn the home’s front door and decorated the first Christmas tree of the season.

“The Craft Fayre was a wonderful opportunity to bring people together, and it was heartwarming to see the joy it brought to residents and visitors alike,” said Jennifer Daly, Home Manager at Hartwell Lodge.

With the success of the Christmas Fayre, Hartwell Lodge is already considering future events, with the possibility of an Easter celebration next year.
