What an incredible day we had at Mulberry House on August 2nd! Our Barn Dance was the talk of Bovey Tracey. Residents, their families, and our team came together for a day filled with music, dance, and a whole lot of laughter.

Despite the British weather doing its best to rain on our parade, we simply moved the festivities indoors. Our staff donned cowboy hats and boots, and Peter Dell’s Country & Western tunes had everyone up and dancing.

Claire and Nicola, our Wellbeing & Activity Coordinators, transformed the dining room into a barn scene straight out of a Western film. Darren, our cook, outdid himself with a BBQ spread that catered to everyone’s tastes.

Our manager, Helen, summed it up perfectly: “Seeing our residents so happy was truly heart-warming. This is just the start; we’re planning more themed events to keep the good times rolling”.
