Kingland House invites local community to join Walk & Talk in Poole Park
Residents and team members from Kingland House Residential Home are inviting local people to join them for a friendly community walk in Poole Park.
The new Walk & Talk in Poole Park initiative has been created to bring people together for fresh air, gentle exercise and relaxed conversation in a welcoming setting.
Taking place at an easy pace, the walk is designed to be open and accessible, giving residents, relatives and members of the local community the chance to enjoy companionship and a change of scene. After the walk, attendees will have the opportunity to stop at a café for refreshments and time to mingle.
The meeting point is outside Kingland House Residential Home, 24–30 Kingland Road, Poole, Dorset, BH15 1TS. Anyone interested in taking part or finding out more can contact the home on 01202 675411 or email activities.kingland@bucklandcare.co.uk.
The home manager said:
“Walk & Talk is all about creating simple opportunities for people to come together. Whether someone fancies a gentle stroll, a friendly chat or just a chance to get out and enjoy some fresh air, everyone is welcome. We hope it will be a lovely way for residents and local people to connect, build friendships and enjoy time together in the community.”
The initiative reflects Buckland Care’s ongoing commitment to helping residents stay connected, active and involved, while also opening the door to meaningful links with the wider local community.
With a focus on fresh air, friendly faces and a warm atmosphere, the Walk & Talk event promises to be a lovely way to bring people together and remind everyone that sometimes the simplest outings can make the biggest difference.
