Residents at Inglefield enjoyed a truly special day recently, filled with comforting food, creativity and plenty of shared smiles.
The day began with a soup-making demonstration led by Inglefield’s Head Chef, Becky. As the dining room filled with the delicious aroma of a warming winter broth, residents gathered to watch, learn and, of course, enjoy a little taste-testing along the way. The relaxed session sparked conversation and curiosity, with residents sharing their own tips and favourite recipes.
The creativity continued into the afternoon with a hands-on bread painting activity. Using colourful, food-safe paints, residents transformed simple loaves into vibrant, edible works of art. The activity encouraged self-expression, laughter and a sense of fun, with each creation as unique as the person who made it.
Days like this reflect what life at Inglefield is all about – enjoying good food, trying something a little different, and spending meaningful time together. It’s these simple, shared moments that help the home feel welcoming, familiar and full of warmth
