Residents from Inglefield Nursing & Residential Home in Totland enjoyed a memorable day out at Osborne House, the much-loved former seaside home of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
The group travelled to the historic East Cowes estate, where they stepped back in time while exploring the beautifully preserved rooms and learning more about Queen Victoria’s life on the Isle of Wight.
After touring the house, residents relaxed over a delicious lunch before taking a gentle stroll through the grounds. They enjoyed the beautiful gardens, fresh air and, most importantly, one another’s company.
The visit provided plenty of opportunities for residents to share memories, discover something new and enjoy a change of scenery.

The trip forms part of Inglefield’s varied activities programme, which is shaped around residents’ individual interests and includes outings, entertainment and activities within the home.
