Mulberry House Gets Blooming for Buckland in Bloom 2026

Residents, team members and visitors at Mulberry House came together to celebrate Buckland in Bloom 2026 with a day full of colour, community spirit and gardening fun.
As part of the celebrations, the home took part in seasonal planting activities, bringing people together to enjoy the simple pleasure of getting their hands in the soil and helping the outdoor spaces look their best for spring.
A special highlight of the event was the creation of bespoke planters featuring the Buckland in Bloom name, adding an extra personal touch to the day and helping mark the occasion in a way that residents and visitors can continue to enjoy.
The event gave everyone the chance to spend time together, enjoy the fresh air and play a part in making the home look even brighter and more welcoming.
Helen, the homes manager said: “Buckland in Bloom has been a lovely way to bring everyone together and celebrate the season. It was wonderful to see residents, staff and visitors enjoying the planting activities, and we were especially delighted to have planters created with Buckland in Bloom on them. It made the day feel even more special and gave us something lasting to enjoy.”
The home said the event was a wonderful example of how small moments and shared activities can create a real sense of connection, while also adding beauty and colour to the surroundings.
Mulberry House is one of a number of Buckland Care homes taking part in Buckland in Bloom 2026, a group-wide initiative celebrating gardening, togetherness and community connections.
