Mulberry House Residential Home Residents Enjoy a Memorable Easter Celebration

Residents at Mulberry House Residential Home in Bovey Tracey, Devon had a delightful Easter celebration this year, filled with engaging activities, festive decorations, and the comfort of camaraderie. The festivities began with Easter decoration preparations, where residents enjoyed an afternoon of painting Easter decorations, including the creative Alan who eagerly awaited inspiration before starting his masterpiece.

These hand-painted decorations were then proudly displayed on the wishing tree for everyone to admire and enjoy. The celebration continued with a thrilling Easter Egg Hunt, where residents enthusiastically searched for hidden eggs throughout the grounds. Prizes were awarded to the top three participants with the most eggs found, adding a touch of friendly competition to the event.

Later in the day our residents enjoyed an entertaining performance by Patrick the singer, followed by a delicious buffet tea for everyone to savour. Helen, the Mulberry House Manager, reflected on the joyful occasion, saying, “It’s a great time for family and residents to bond and remember all the Easter traditions. Everyone was in good spirits and enjoyed each other’s company.”
