Orchards Residential Home Residents Enjoy Heartwarming Easter Celebration

The residents of The Orchards Residential Home in Wroughton, Wiltshire celebrated a delightful Easter this year, filled with creative activities, delicious treats, and wonderful company. The festivities began with Easter bonnet preparations, as the residents crafted their own unique and colorful hats to wear throughout the celebrations.

A special thank you goes to Heather, the daughter of one of the residents, who generously baked a beautiful Easter cake for the staff to enjoy. The cake was a much-appreciated gesture and added a sweet touch to the holiday.

The Easter party at the care home was filled with joy and laughter, as everyone indulged in an abundance of chocolate eggs and proudly wore their handmade bonnets. To commemorate the occasion, residents and staff participated in a special Easter game, with the winners receiving a delightful chocolate hamper as their prize.

The celebrations continued with residents enjoying karaoke and dancing, creating a lively atmosphere for all to relish. Julie Beale, the Registered Manager of the Orchards, expressed her delight at the event, saying, “It’s so lovely to see all the residents happy and engaged. They all were sharing their Easter traditions and memories. Everyone was in good spirits and happy.”
