Residents from Inglefield Nursing & Residential Home enjoyed another wonderful trip to a local dementia choir, where music, memories and friendship came together for a special day out.
The visit gave residents the chance to enjoy familiar songs, rediscover old favourites and spend time with others in a warm and welcoming community setting.
For many people living with dementia, music can be a powerful way to connect with memories, emotions and other people. The choir provided a relaxed and joyful space where residents could sing along, listen, smile and simply enjoy the atmosphere.
Charlotte, Home Manager at Inglefield Nursing & Residential Home, said: “We had such a lovely time at the dementia choir. It was wonderful to see our residents enjoying the music, joining in with songs they recognised, and sharing those special moments together.
“We love getting out into our local community. Trips like this bring so much joy and help our residents feel connected, included and part of something meaningful.”
Inglefield Nursing & Residential Home regularly supports residents to enjoy activities, outings and community events that bring comfort, connection and happiness to everyday life.
