The King rocks Willow Bank Care Home in Pershore

Residents and team members at Willow Bank Care Home in Pershore were all shook up when Elvis came to town for an afternoon of music, dancing and plenty of laughter.

Popular Elvis tribute performer Carl Fisher returned to the home to entertain residents with some of the King of Rock ’n’ Roll’s best-loved hits.

A firm favourite at Willow Bank, Carl soon had the home filled with music as residents sang along, danced and enjoyed the lively performance.

And it wasn’t only residents getting involved. Team Leader Matthew and Dementia Lead Paul found themselves roped into the entertainment, much to the amusement of residents and their colleagues.

Home Manager Carole said: “Carl is always such a hit when he comes to Willow Bank. As soon as he starts performing, the whole atmosphere changes and you can see people singing along, smiling and tapping their feet.

“Music is such a wonderful way of bringing people together and creating those moments of real joy. It was lovely seeing everyone getting involved – although I’m not sure Matthew and Paul were expecting to become part of the show!

“There was so much laughter, and that’s exactly what we want life at Willow Bank to be about. A huge thank you to Carl for another brilliant afternoon.
