Yesterday, the team at Woodland Court Care Home stepped out into the local community to shine a spotlight on Alzheimer’s awareness—and do a little well-deserved PR while we were at it!

We’re incredibly proud of the care we provide and were pleased to have the chance to chat with members of the public about both respite and long-term care options. It’s always a privilege to offer advice, reassurance, and a friendly face to anyone navigating the care journey.

We also took a couple of our lovely residents along for the outing—because what’s a community day without a bit of shopping and a slice of cake? Coffee, chatter, and a few treats were very much enjoyed by all.

The feedback from the public was truly heart-warming. So many people had already heard great things about Woodland Court, which means the world to us. Knowing our reputation for warmth and quality care is reaching local ears makes every effort worthwhile.

All in all, a brilliant day of awareness-raising, cake-eating, and community connection. Just the way we like it.
