West Bank Care Home has been deeply touched by the incredible response to its annual Shoe Box Appeal. The team has been truly moved by the kindness and generosity shown by families, friends, and the local community.
The care home shared that they have been “absolutely blown away” by the number of thoughtful donations already received. Each shoe box, lovingly filled and gifted, brings comfort, joy, and a sense of being remembered to those who need it most – especially at this time of year.
There is still time for anyone wishing to take part.
Items still needed include:
-
Stocking fillers for children
-
Face masks
-
Fluffy socks
-
Body spray and smelly sets
-
Sleep mist
-
Face wipes
-
Lip gloss
-
Pens and notepads
There is still time to get involved. West Bank Care Home will be arranging delivery of all completed shoeboxes during the week commencing 8th December.
Judy, the home manager, added that the kindness shown this year has created a real buzz of excitement among residents and staff alike, and they are incredibly grateful for the continued support.
West Bank Care Home looks forward to sharing the smiles these parcels will bring — and extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who has helped make the appeal such a success.
You can contact the home on 01989 562741 to arrange drop off of any donations.
