Easter Ponies Trot into Willow Bank for an Afternoon of Smiles

Just another totally normal afternoon at Willow Bank…
Residents were treated to a rather unusual surprise this week—Easter ponies Moomin and Lollypop trotting through the home, bringing smiles (and a few gentle nibbles) as they went.

The pair, dressed for the occasion with their best bunny ears, made their way from lounge to lounge, stopping for cuddles, photo ops, and the odd sniff at someone’s biscuit. The calming presence of the ponies was felt all around, with residents chatting, laughing, and sharing stories of animals they’d known and loved.

Staff at Willow Bank said the visit brought a lovely sense of calm and connection to the home—and that it’s just the sort of “ordinary magic” they love to sprinkle into everyday life.

Let’s just say Moomin and Lollypop will be welcome back any time… so long as they keep their noses out of the cake tins.
