The spirit of Christmas has been shining brightly at Hartwell Lodge Care Home, with residents, team members and the local community coming together through a series of thoughtful festive initiatives.
In the run-up to Christmas, Hartwell Lodge invited visitors, families and friends to pop in wearing their festive best and donate what they could to Save the Children. The response reflected the generosity and kindness of the local community, with many people keen to support the appeal and help make a difference for children in need during the festive season.
Adding to the Christmas cheer, Hartwell Lodge was delighted to be included in The Bugle Hotel, Titchfield’s ‘Give a Gift’ scheme. As part of the initiative, residents’ names were placed on the hotel’s Christmas tree, allowing local people to choose a name and purchase a gift from a suggested list. Thanks to the warmth and generosity of the community, residents now have a collection of thoughtful surprises waiting to be opened on Christmas Day.
