Residents at Kingland House Residential Home Enjoy Special Visit from Creature Teachers

Residents at Kingland House Residential Home were delighted to welcome Creature Teachers for a truly memorable and interactive experience this week.
The highlight of the visit was a beautiful owl, who quickly stole the show – and a few hearts along the way. Residents had the opportunity to see the owl up close, learn fascinating facts about its habitat and behaviour, and ask questions during the engaging session.
The room was filled with curiosity, smiles and plenty of “oohs” and “aahs” as residents enjoyed the chance to connect with wildlife in such a personal way. Animal visits are always popular at the home, offering not only entertainment but also gentle stimulation and meaningful conversation.
The home manager, Tracy, said:
“It was wonderful to see how much our residents enjoyed meeting the owl. Experiences like this spark memories, encourage conversation and bring so much joy. We are always looking for new and engaging ways to enrich daily life here at Kingland House.”
Kingland House Residential Home continues to organise a variety of activities and visits as part of its commitment to providing a vibrant and engaging environment for residents.
