Hartwell Lodge Care Home Hosts Mini Christmas Fayre: Calling All Local Fareham Craft Stallholders!

This festive season, Hartwell Lodge Care Home is bringing the joy of Christmas markets to its residents with an innovative Mini Christmas Fayre! On Saturday, 30th November, from 3-5 pm, Hartwell Lodge will open its doors to local crafters and artisans, transforming its indoor space into a magical holiday shopping experience.

– Hartwell Lodge is seeking 6-8 talented stallholders to join the event, showcasing handmade crafts, jewellery, Christmas gifts, and festive creations. The fayre offers local makers a unique opportunity to bring their work directly to the community within the care home – and the best part? No stall fees are required! Instead, Hartwell Lodge is inviting each stallholder to donate a raffle prize for a special Christmas raffle, spreading the holiday cheer even further.

– This event is a wonderful chance for Hartwell Lodge’s residents, including those who may have difficulty visiting traditional markets, to enjoy the festive spirit of shopping for special holiday items. The Mini Christmas Fayre will feature a cosy atmosphere with Christmas music, decorations, and the buzz of a community coming together to support local talent.

– “Bringing the local community into our home in such a meaningful way is what makes this event so special,” says Hartwell Lodge’s manager Jennifer Daly. “Our residents love the chance to experience the festive season up close, and this fayre allows them to engage with local makers and enjoy the Christmas spirit.”

– If you’re a local artisan interested in participating, please get in touch at activities.hartwell@bucklandcare.com to reserve a spot. Hartwell Lodge invites all to be part of this merry day, filled with holiday cheer, community connections, and the joy of supporting local talent.
