Inglefield Care Home, Totland, is opening its doors to the community to share a little festive magic. This year, the home’s front entrance has been transformed into a breathtaking Fairy Winter Wonderland – a creation lovingly brought to life by talented team member, Denise.
Twinkling lights, winter creatures, and delicate fairy details have turned the space into something truly special. Residents have been delighted by the transformation, many saying it’s their favourite display yet.
As part of the home’s wish to spread joy beyond its walls, Inglefield is inviting local children and families to visit:
Children are welcome to pop in, enjoy the Winter Wonderland, and leave a handwritten note for one of our residents to open.
Each child who takes part will be offered a small sweet treat as a thank you for sharing a little kindness this Christmas.
The Home Manager Charlotte for Inglefield said:
“The display has brought so much happiness to our residents. Being able to share that sense of wonder with local families means the world to us. A simple note from a child can make a resident’s whole day, and it helps build those lovely connections across generations.”
No booking is required – families can drop by whenever they’re passing to take a moment, admire the display, and take part in this heartwarming festive gesture.
Inglefield would also like to thank Denise for her creativity and hard work in bringing such sparkle to the home this Christmas.
