The Orchards Residential Home in Swindon, was a hive of activity this week as residents, families and staff came together to celebrate Buckland in Bloom.

Guests were invited to join residents in the garden for a relaxed afternoon of tea, coffee and cake. With blue skies overhead and the garden in full bloom, it was the perfect setting for catching up with loved ones and enjoying the fruits of the residents’ gardening efforts.

A popular feature of the day was the plant stall, showcasing flowers and greenery grown from seed by residents. Adding to the charm, a resident’s daughter brought along her own beautiful plants to sell, creating a real community feel.

The event brought everyone together in the best possible way – with homemade cake, great company, and plenty of smiles. The team at The Orchards said it was a “truly joyful day” and a lovely way to celebrate all that makes the home feel like one big family.
