A Week Full of Fun has been had at Inglefield Nursing & Residential Home, who believe in the power of diversity to keep life vibrant and engaging. ”Variety truly is the spice of life after all” said home manager Charlotte Willis.

And their residents are certainly treated to an exciting array of activities every week. This week is no exception, and we’re only halfway through at the time of writing this!

Sing-along with Independent Arts

Residents have been enjoying a lively sing-along, with the room filled with smiles and nostalgic tunes. There’s nothing better than the joy that comes from singing together, with laughter and music blending perfectly to create a homely atmosphere. Simon, from the entertainment providers, will be attending for a sing along on Friday too, to kick start the weekend early.

Fresh Cakes & News Catch-ups

What could be better than indulging in freshly baked cakes while catching up on the weekly news? It’s a great way to stay connected to current events and spark engaging conversations, ensuring residents feel in touch with the world around them.

Creative Painting Sessions

The creative spirit is alive at Inglefield! Painting sessions have been a wonderful outlet for self-expression, with residents unleashing their inner artists in a supportive and fun environment. The home is starting to look spooky with all the fabulous Halloween bunting and props that the residents have been having fun creating and placing around the home this week.

A Walk by the Sea

Nothing beats a breath of fresh air, and the recent walk down to the sea was the perfect way to enjoy nature. Along the way, they met a very friendly dog, who added even more joy to our adventure!

Scrapbook Making

Preserving memories is an important part of life at Inglefield. Residents have been working on their scrapbooks, capturing treasured moments and creating something meaningful to look back on.
