Kingland House is celebrating an incredible achievement by one of its own, as Heather has successfully completed her personal challenge to walk as many miles as possible throughout the month of May, raising an impressive £575 for the British Heart Foundation in the process.
Clocking up 56 miles over the month, Heather took on the challenge with determination and heart, motivated by the cause and the support of those around her. One of her favourite walks took her along Holkham Beach in Norfolk, where the wide open skies, fresh sea breeze and stunning coastal views gave her the inspiration to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
Heather shared her gratitude with those who donated:
“I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported me. Every step I took was fuelled by your kindness and encouragement—and together, we’re helping to make a real difference.”
The team and residents at Kingland House couldn’t be prouder of Heather’s efforts and the funds raised, which will go directly towards supporting vital research and the fight against heart disease.
Tracy, the homes manager said:
“Heather’s determination has been truly inspiring. She’s shown us all what’s possible with a bit of courage, a good pair of walking shoes, and a big heart. We’re absolutely thrilled for her.”
Kingland House invites everyone to join them in congratulating Heather on this fantastic accomplishment—and in celebrating the spirit of giving back that lives at the heart of the home.
