Storm Claudia may have swept across the country, but nothing was going to stop the warmth and cheer at Westbank Residential Home as the much-loved TinyTots session went ahead as planned.
Despite the downpours, the dedicated childminders of Ross arrived with their little ones in tow, ready to fill the home with music, laughter and that unmistakable joy only young children can bring. What followed was an uplifting afternoon of nursery rhymes, clapping, giggles, and gentle moments shared between generations.
Residents lit up as the children toddled around the lounge, joining in with songs they remembered from years ago. The room quickly became a colourful mix of play, chatter, and the kind of natural, easy connection that makes these sessions so special.
Judy, the home manager for Westbank said:
“These visits mean more than we can say. No matter what the weather is doing outside, the children bring sunshine with them. Our residents look forward to TinyTots every month – it lifts the whole home.”
The home expressed its gratitude to the wonderful childminders who braved the storm, and to the tiny visitors who brought so much life and joy to the day.
The next TinyTots session is already being looked forward to – rain or shine.
