West Bank Residential Home residents in Ross-On-Wye enjoyed a memorable Easter celebration this year, filled with engaging activities. The festivities began with an exciting Easter Raffle, which set the stage for the events to follow.
Good Friday was a day full of popular activities, starting with a lively indoor football game with Ross Juniors. Residents had a great time chatting with the coaches afterward, sharing hot cross buns and tea. Peter, one of the care home residents, presented each coach with an Easter gift as a token of appreciation for their continued support.
The afternoon brought joy to everyone as residents created chocolate bars together with their great-grandchildren, followed by more hot cross buns. The celebrations continued with a visit from the Easter Bunny, who engaged residents in a lively Music & Movement session! The Easter Bunny gave each resident an Easter egg and wished them a very Happy Easter.
The busy Easter weekend concluded with a game of bingo, popcorn, milkshakes and a movie afternoon. West Bank Residential Home Manager, Judy, noted that the celebrations made residents feel festive and happy. She expressed her gratitude to everyone involved, stating that their contributions made the Easter weekend truly special for the residents.
